Where for art thou?

I don't know what has been different about this school year. I feel like there is simply NO free time. I didn't switch grades this year (for the first time in 3 years), however I feel swamped with "stuff" this year. I don't know if it is my parapro's decrease in hours or what, but I am bringing work home almost every night and fall into bed exhausted. There is no time to check Facebook, no time to blog, no time to do much of anything other than what must be done. The one thing I have been sure to do is to document the things that are happening in the daily life of my little ones. So here is a brief update of life at the Lofgren home:

Bobby started 1st grade. He is in Mrs. Lane's class and LOVES school. He lost both of his front teeth in one day. He had his first musical performance. He can't wait for baseball season to begin. He loves buying school lunch and doing his homework!

Katie resumed pre-school. She is in Ms. Debbie's class again and has started to make new friends this year. She never goes anywhere without Sofie, her raggedy baby doll. She loves to pretend to be a princess, wear jewelry, and high heels. She can play by herself for hours, make believing with her toys. She started pre-ballet this weekend. She can't wait to be in Kindergarten!

Andy is growing like a weed. He loves to explore and find new things. He has quite a temper is isn't afraid to let it show. He wants to follow after his brother and sister everywhere. He won't go anywhere without a faffi. He has a killer smile. He gives the best hugs.
I'm helping clean the garage...can't you tell? :)

Watch out Rock Band, here I come!

I'm cute and I KNOW it!

Hope you enjoyed. I'm going to try to update this a little more often.

  2. I cannot believe how much the children have grown...I have their Christmas picture hanging on my office wall; now I need another update to put beside it!
These days go so fast, Jen...you will blink and they will be teenagers, and then you will blink again and they will be heading out the door into lives of their own. Enjoy the simple things and the little moments of memories you make.
I love you all so much...I cannot wait to see you again.
